Greta Van Susteren Defends Fox News As Being A Legitimate News Organization

After the White House accused Fox News of not being a legitimate news organization, the news anchors at Fox have been defending their news channel to prove the accusation wrong. The battle all started about a week ago when Anita Dunn, White House communications director, called Fox News a "wing of the Republican Party." Ever since then it's been ON! Fox News did not take the accu-sation sitting down, they quickly counter attacked by releasing statements and even promotional ads that appeared on their channel to denounce the accu-sations coming from the Obama Administration. Just recently the news channel's show hosts have taken it upon themselves to join in the battle to defend Fox News' reputation.
Bill O' Reilly discussed the issue during his talking points segment at the beginning of his show last night. O' Reilly went on to say that the Obama Administration is on the attack against Fox News because they keep exposing Obama's ties to "far left" radicals and that this has enraged the President. Sean Hannity stated on his show basically the same things that O' Reilly had mentioned on his, concerning the fact that Fox News was exposing Obama's radical ties. Last but not least, Greta Van Susteren felt the need to chime in on the subject of Fox not being a credible news source.
The way Greta handled her self was a little different than her counterparts though. She actually showed proof of her covering major news events instead of using the tactics of Bill and Sean, when all they did was try to prove that Anitta Dunn was just another radical like William Ayers or Rev. Wright. Greta Van Susteren showed some CLASS by actually refuting the claims that Fox doesn't know how to cover a story unless it involves Republican talking points. She may have gotten away from her old style of covering criminal court cases but she always has been the one in Fox's prime time line-up to cover the news story without getting bogged down in her own personal opinion. I hope Greta decides to stay at Fox News and she ends up renewing her contract next year. If she does decide to leave, she will be sorely missed by the people who continue to turn to Fox as their main source of news.

I also hope FoxNews keeps Greta. If she goes, she will be missed. I did, however, prefer her old style of dealing with the legal issues, but her program has always been a must see for me.
