Humorous Weekend: 'Saturday Night Live' Denigrates Fox News While President Obama Dupes CNN

This past weekend had some amusing moments concerning a couple of the cable news channels.

SNL started off their show with a parody of, not one, not two but 7 news anchors over at Fox News, with a special emphasis on Greta Van Susteren, Shepard Smith and the cry baby himself... Glenn Beck. Fox News must have caught the eyes of the writers over at SNL this week when the gang over at Fox were calling this the beginning of the end of the Obama Administration because of the two gubernatorial elections won by Republicans in New Jersey and Virginia. Fox News has been continuously criticizing General Electric and NBC for their coverage of the news and the current administration. Well, it seems that SNL and their comedy skits are being used to to expose Fox News' bias and their propensity to only cover Republican talking points.
Reporters were waiting for the President to speak to in the Rose Garden at the White House concerning the passage of the health care bill in Congress. While talking to CNN' s John King, the reporter saw the president walk towards the podium and was getting ready for the President's remarks. To her surprise, the President kept walking and went back into the White house. He returned a few seconds later to make his remarks. In my opinion, he must have been trying to fool the reporters on purpose, do to the fact that the President could have easily walked through the White House instead of coming out and then going back in in front of the assembled media. The President must have been in a good mood with the passage of the health bill in the Congress the night before for him to be playing tricks on the media.
